Wise man lookin’ in a blade of grass, Young man lookin’ in the shadows that pass, Poor man lookin’ through painted glass. For dignity .....

You Know Dignity When You See It

In the Maryland countryside not far from whatever’s going on in Washington, D.C., there’s a farm that proclaims its philosophy right there on the barn, for all passersby to see.

Someone showed me a picture and I just laughed; Dignity never been photographed ....

Jeffrey Eaton took these nice photographs while traveling the backroads last summer. A couple of years ago, he wrote a long and thoughtful review of my novel Dignity, and figured I’d like to see this farm. He was right!

Have you seen Dignity?

If you want to see the farm yourself, it’s right here. And that’s just 15 miles from the Patuxent National Wildlife Refuge with its thousands of acres and many miles of trails. So there’s an excuse, if you need one.
